Tandoorian in Wiesbaden

Ordered from lieferando. Portions TINY for the price. Not that far but came cold. Won't order again.

Super good quality. Are very satisfied. Delicious meal. Good and reliable delivery service. I can only recommend.

I come here at least once a week. The food is delicious and it’s actually spicy by American standards. Friendly owners too.

Incredibly delicious !!! That's what you pay for !! I can only recommend the naan bread, chicken tikka masala and the mangolassi as my favorite foods and drinks!

Delicious. And for lovers of spicy Indian cuisine, it is perfect there. Of course there is not only spicy food there.

From my point of view, a hangout here is highly recommended. The armchairs are very comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is particularly appropriate. There you in no way get the feeling of dining like a fish in a can in the evening, where it has never happened to us that a dish is not warm on the table. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired. Not only the nice restaurant staff was the absolute hit during our visit, but also the good ambience.

Food was really good, but... - it’s a bit expensive considering the portions you get - we had to wait for more than 1 hour until they brought us our food... and the restaurant wasn’t full (I’d say not even 50%...). The waiter informed us that it would take longer, but we never expected to wait such a long time!!

It literally took 2 h to get our food! No food is worth this wait... so dissatisfied!!!

Food was okay, but in a restaurant with only 5 tables a 4 people sitting, having to wait a total of 2 hours for your meal is simply bad service. When asked, one was only held up. Once and not again!

Nice ambience, nice to look at ... but Waited forever for food, unfortunately not tasty. I don't understand all the good reviews, absolutely incomprehensible. Unfortunately, you can't talk about good cuisine or price / performance ...

We have been there a couple of times as we like to eat Indian and the restaurant is well located for us. The food tastes good but not outstanding compared to other Indians. V.a. the lunch menu is good value for money, even if the portions are quite small. The service has been ok so far - if I was only rating the last visit, I would only give it one star because it was so bad. Mostly long waiting times and the waiters were not very friendly and attentive. E.g. It took more than half an hour after dinner to clear our empty plates.

Much too hot chickens even if we said that it should be mild

I am originally from South Asia. I know the original taste of South Asian food. The quality of the food was very poor. Furthermore, the waiter's service was terrible. Even he didn't know how to talk to customers.

Very bad service. The basement was very different. Food wasn't tasty either.

Not only the nice local staff was the absolute hit when I visited, but also the great flair. The restaurant is really extremely stylishly furnished. Not a cheap decoration, instead there was a lot of different colors that matched each other very well. The restaurant is consistently nice and we had a nice afternoon there. Cheap, varied selection of dishes and drinks. I was actually very happy with my Queen of Hearts to finally have discovered a tavern in our area, which we can still afford at the end of the month without hesitation.

The waiter serving us was incredibly friendly. Drinks and food came relatively quickly. Everything tasted so far, only the Naan did not resemble the style we are familiar with and was bland.

Highly recommend Tandoorian to any Indian food lover. The staff is very kind, they do serve quickly and yet the food is very authentic and delicious. Will come back at any time.

Nice people working here. Service is great and very fast, food is authentic and really yummy. Hot means really hot, like Indian hot! That’s a plus especially in Germany. I’ll come back.

Good food, not too spicy.

Definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area. I eat Indian a lot and I'm very glad I found this place in Wiesbaden. It's a little hidden but once you find it it's beautiful inside. Service is super friendly and quick. Owner and staff are extraordinary nice. No matter what meal I've ordered here it was always very delicious. My tip, try the chicken tikka masala. Prices and portion sizes are fair.

The restaurant makes an extremely neat impression with high-quality set tables and a very cozy but not kitschy atmosphere. Top! The food was very good with our own creations. We got an interesting variation of three sauces and thin bread. And the main course was also really tasty and very interesting. Overall, a really good experience in Indian food.

If you have time and the patience to wait for some great food, this is a place for you. The owner is extremely kind and takes time out for each guest and all three dishes I’ve tried so far have been 10/10!

Small portion, karahi gosht- no flavour at all, kasmiri lamb so sweet that you can't eat it. Lamb itself feel steam cooked without any flavours inside. P.S Don't connect food with country! We had a Pakistani friend with us too, may be you can read her review too! The comment below shows you have no interest in taking critics on your food and making it better. Shameful!

I am from Pakistan and I know how lamb Karachi tastes. There was no taste in the lamb karahi at tandoorian. Rice portion was too less. The kashmiri lamb was too sweet. The food was not worth the money.

Very bad food, I ordered tikka masala, it was just for name sake tikka masala. It was just as bad as eating a food from last week. So please change your direction if you going for it. Thank you for mentioning me Indian, I would loved to be one and it was just the food nothing to your citizenship...

Good food and friendly staff. On the pricey side of casual but one of the only places where "Indian hot" really means what it says.

We really enjoyed the time at Tandoorian. The food was very good and the staff and owner were so kind. Definitely coming again.

The ambience and music was good. I ordered chicken biryani and it's the worst tasting biryani I have ever had. Even the street side biryani vendors make much better tasting biryani in India. For the price they charged it's not worth at all. Biryani suppose to be a delicacy and they way they prepared it seems they don't have any knowledge at all to prepare biryani and believe it if you never had biryani this is not the way biryani tastes at all. And later I got to know he is a cheat & a rip-off from a colleague. They would keep on taking orders without letting you know how many it would serve, and they made it 85euro for two people and the review I got from them was every food tasted very bad.

Service is consistently excellent, as well as the food. My only complaint is that spiciness is relative to who is working. I always try to use the same language when describing how spicy I want my dish. One time it was blistering hot, which was awesome but other times it's been severely lacking. When one says "sehr sehr sehr Scharf," I expect it to light me up. But again, recommended because all is great here.

Nice Indian restaurant. Small but nice. Price - performance 8 out of 10 points. The portion of rice was huge, but just under 15 euros with a few pieces of chicken but very expensive. Nevertheless, it was delicious and I can only recommend it.

They cook curry the way you want! Awesome!
